Here is a notecard set I just sent out yesterday. Lavendar and chocolate is one of my favorite color combos. Enjoy!

Stephanie and Aaron monogram package
Here's Stephanie and Aaron's monograms. She has some daisies in her wedding, so she asked for a little bit of a daisy touch to one of her monograms.
Valentines Day Cards: Ahhhh Amore
More cards to share with you all! This time around, I have a few buyers that opted for different color schemes and messages for their loved ones...
Here is Laura's card for Martin. I don't thik you can tell in the photo, but she wanted a silver cover.
Sheri, loves black and pink.
Sheri, loves black and pink.
Alyson, went for black and red. =)
And here, we have a personalized card with a cuuuuuuuute story of why the message is what it is. "You're My #1 (Reverse)" is such a good story. But alas, it's private, and I'll let this couple keep it to themselves. When she shared, i was like "awwwww." But, I am sooo priveledged to be let in on their story. Thank you!

Baby Monogram Preview
I'm excited because I am in the process of making a monogram for my first baby shower for Sonya's friend! You may remember her table numbers with the tiffany blue, and chandelier background. I've gotten a few requests for that design. Here is a preview of a new baby on the way... she mentioned apples, so I had a little fun with this.

Wedding Invitations On Etsy
I love creating paper decor for weddings. Table Numbers, programs, menus, etc. But the only thing I haven't had a chance to make are invitations. Sigh. I wish I had the time (someday). Since I get a lot of questions from brides-to-be on invitations, I've come up with the following list. These wedding invitation designers are from Etsy, and they are SUPER talented. I would get my invites from these artists anytime -- and WHAT A DEAL. Please check out their links to their shops or sites, and if you're in the market for some gorgeous, unique invites that will wow your guests, then please, see these shops, and maybe you'll find the perfect fit for your wedding. They are also part of the wonderful team, Etsy Greetings Group, which specializes in greeting cards, stationery, invitations.

Terhi and Tuomo
Terhi opted to have her 3 monogram package be based around the same design, but in different color schemes. She's actually very creative because she told me where to put what color, and had so many inspirational images to help me put these together for her. Thanks, Terhi!

SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT: CLOSED 1/23 - 1/25
I've made the announcement in my Etsy shop, but just in case, GE Designs is closed from January 23, 2009 - January 25, 2009. I will be travelling out of town for a family situation, but I will be back Sunday night to start fresh Monday morning.
I'll still be able to take new orders and answer questions, I just won't be able to send out design proofs or mail finalized monograms. Many of you have been very sweet in your well wishes.
Thank you all for your patience and have a lovely weekend!

Tanekeya Word's "Femmelle Fatale" Logo
Now another logo design for Tanekeya Word. This one is called "Femmelle Fatale," and she was going for something very feminine, with 50s glamour. I love working with her because as an artist, she has a great eye for design, so she was able to tell me exactly where to put things, and find some inspirational images to help me put this together for her. It's always nice to get my creative juices flowing for something different and unique!
Jennifer & Steven: Valentines Day Wedding
Valentines Day is coming up in a couple weeks, and so is Jennifer's wedding day! Here are her table numbers. Her color theme is actually Red, black, and Ivory. But because she had already gotten menus and other papier for the reception tables, she chose to make the table numbers black and ivory, to ensure there was no clashing of the reds. She also loved the words and definition theme that I had used for Kyle and Ann's wedding last month, so she wanted a similar theme, with a variation on the layout. Instead of Naming the tables a different word, she used traditional numbers, and under each number had the word/definition for guests to read. Very cute.

More Love...
More Personalized Valentines Day cards are completed! Here are a few. Still working on a few more...
Logan and William
I had the opportunity to work with Logan on her Monogram package. She knew exactly what she wanted, and was so great at describing her vision. She was looking for a little help in designing monograms and graphics for her DIY projects for her wedding, so here are her golden graphics...

SOUL MATES -- Sonya's Valentines Day Card
I'm so excited. My Personalized Valentines Day Cards had a good sale weekend! I wanted to post Sonya's card, because it's slightly different from the others I made. She asked to put "SOUL MATES" along with the names... So this is what I came up with. Luckily both their names fit into the spaces she asked me. If you had a longer name, I'd probably invert the positions, and put "Soul Mates" at the bottom.

Valentines Day: Personalized Greeting Card
Here is my first Valentines Day Card for Melissa. It's the custom cut greeting card, where I can put any message on there for you. Melissa asked for lot of hearts, and requested the white foreground, and red background. I actually had to make two of these because I mis-calculated the center, and screwed up the fold on the first one. Bah. I have to remember my dad's advice: "measure twice, cut once." Applies to many things. Oh well. The final card is way cute -- I used a metallic white cardstock and red lining. If you are interested in having your own unique card made, visit my etsy shop!

Kristi and Tim: more Table Numbers and Program sample
I had posted a sample of Kristi's table numbers (and monograms) a while back, but I had completed the rest of them, and wanted to post them again. Her theme is pink and Lemongrass green, and some bling in green.
She also needed a "reserved" card for her and Tim's places at the reception. The chairs at the venue wouldn't be able to hold a large sign tied to the back, so we went with tent-style 6X6 cards.
My next step for Kristi's wedding, are her programs. She wants to have fan paddle programs, which is pretty easy to make -- except I didn't like the look of plain popsicle sticks. So I decided to stain them a dark brown. I started off staining them with a wood stain in a "dark mahogany." But ick. After a whole afternoon of spray staining 50 sticks, they looked like popsicle sticks that had a Fudgsicle melted on it or something. I didn't even want to take photos of it. Sooooo, after all that work, JP (my hubbie) suggested I spray paint them instead. Back to Michaels I went, and bought a dark brown spray paint, and Viola! chocolate brown sticks that looked worthy of a wedding reception. So here's a sneak peak of a sample program I just put together for her.
To complete the look, and to make the fan program look a bit more upscale, I rounded the corners with a large corner hole puncher.
DIY TIP: Make sure you use HEAVY CARDSTOCK (81lb or 105lb). Especially if your popsicle stick has been painted. Your guests will be using these outdoors, and you can see through light cardstock. So the thicker the better. But not too thick! You want your printer to be able to pick it up...
Ramsey's Word Book Album
Now a little break away from wedding projects. I finally had the chance to complete a Word Book Album for Nazza's son, Ramsey. He's turning 18 in a couple months, and she wanted to give him something very unique and special. So she ordered a completed album from me. It's taken me a few months, but here is the completed book. I used a few store-bought stickers, and made a couple titles on my own. I just kept adding little things here and there, and now I hope Nazza will be happy with the result...
