Escort Cards Idea

I really should share some of my wedding vendor finds on my blog. I'm still getting the hang of blogging regularly. But I was browsing online through some wedding blogs, and somehow I ran into the flower designer, Treasured Petals, and I was like, WOW. Gorgeous. AND she's not too far away in Santa Margarita, CA.

This photo stood out to me on her blog for some Escort Card settings. Her husband took the photos. Sooooooo gorgeous! If you have the budget for something like this, I say go for it -- totally worth it. Check out the rest of her work on her blog and website, and if you're in Southern California, I'd definitely try to get in touch with her for your floral designs.

New Monogram Design

I'm currently designing a special project for a friend, and in the process came up with a new monogram design to add to my standard Monogram collection. As usual, comes in different fonts and different colors...

Shaun and Marc

Here is Shaun's monogram package. I love the NH Knotties!

I love the calla lily theme!

Tammy and Daryl

Tammy and Daryl are getting married this Saturday in beautiful San Diego! She came to me and we put together a wedding package that included some premade table numbers, tags, cards. Her package also included a few digital files for her seating chart and programs, which of course, she will be printing and assembling on her own.

Below, you can see her table numbers -- Tammy's niece created the monogram image of the cherub and the frame, so I used it as an ongoing theme throughout all her items.

Jessica and Jason - Table Numbers

Here are Jessica's table numbers with just the numbers and description. I love the simplicity. And navy blue is soooo pretty.

I just love the navy in the satin ribbon -- so much so I included a closeup.

Happy Birthday Michael!

Here's a 25th Birthday Card for Michael from his fiance. I'm not sure if it's the color of the backdrop, or the lighting, but just so you know, I used a navy blue metallic cover sheet, with white lining for contrast.

Megan and Jennifer: Lighting Logos

I have created a logo for Megan recently, and she loved it so much, she decided to surprise her sister with her own for her wedding. Both of these files will be used to create the lighing logo (aka GOBO) for their dance floors at their receptions. Because the lighting will be in one tone, I've made them one color without any overlapping so it's legible for the final product. There are also other lighting options to create different light "tones" so that you may overlap the designs of your monogram/logo. But either way, it's a beautiful touch to your reception!

Here's a version of Mary's Seating Chart. We've used her monogram as the background to continue her mongram theme throughout the reception. She will be having this file printed onto a 28 x 24 canvas to mount on an easel.

LaKeisha's Table Numbers: Love Is...

I am just excited to post a new theme that LaKeisha came up with for her tables for her September wedding... I haven't exactly finished the whole set of 26 cards, but here are a few as a preview.

This is one of the monograms that I created for LaKeisha for her 3-Monogram Package...

I am also working on her Favor Tags, as well, so stay tuned!

Mary's Wedding Package

I've finally completed a wedding decor package for one of my favorite clients, Mary. She is getting married in a couple weeks, but she and I have been in contact since the summer of '08. So I feel like I know her pretty well, since we've been emailing back and forth -- bouncing ideas back and forth, designing and making little tweaks here and there. So here are a few photos of what we've put together.

I wish I could take the credit for their beautiful monogram, but she had a friend put one together for her... And it became a consistent theme in each of the pieces below...

Here are some samples of using the monogram as a theme -- I've taken a part of their monogram design, and "watermarked" it in the background of the program, and the menus.

Beth's Table Numbers, Part II

Beth came back looking to order more table numbers! And a few extras. Beth and Tien's wedding is a melding of cultures, so to help explain some of the traditional practices in their ceremony and reception, Beth had me make a card explaining the different Vietnamese traditions to place on each table.

And some tags for their sweets table...
