Elizabeth Medina Photography: Blog Love

It's been a couple months since I've browsed some of my favorite Cancun photographers' blogs.  Elizabeth Medina posted some gorgeous photos in the last few months. Here's a glimpse of a recent entry where the colors were soooo beachy and bright (for all you beach brides).  LOVE it. It makes me glad that I've added a few orange pieces to my summer wardrobe this year, so that I have some bright pieces to wear on our own wedding trip to Cancun.  Again, I am obsessed with Elizabeth's work, and I wish she was available for us, but I can only admire from afar (on my computer screen)...

Rosalie + Juan

Rosalie was married last month in gorgeous Hawaii for a destination wedding, and here are her items in a popular combination this season - Silver and lavendar/purple! Rosalie wanted simple favor tags that said "thank you" and some space for a handwritten message...

Their programs were simple and elegant -- Flat 5x7 pieces. Rosalie wanted to place a popsicle stick between the two layers to make fans (DIY). I created these pieces without gluing the last 2 pieces for her to finish them off at home.

This is what the "finished product" could look like, but Rosalie will add the sticks for the paddle fan look. You can add ribbon at the bottom around the stick for a little extra. Reserved signs for the couple...

The couple chose to do a Hawaiian Beach theme for their destination wedding...

Tamara + Toby

Tamara was a joy to work with. She and Toby were married the 14th, and ordered a package from GE Designs for their autumn theme. She sent me her lovely monogram, which became part of the design theme of her paper products. Congrats Toby & Tamara!!!

Below are the covers of the programs. They are the A7 (5x7 inches) booklets, with the metallic cardstock upgrade.
Here's a closeup of her matching menus. Each guest had their own at their table setting. Here are her themed table cards -- based on my favorite basketball team, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. They used the names and jersey numbers of both teams' best players.

She ordered some personalized Reserved Seat signs for the bridal party and their parents...

And here is a shot of her poster-sized Seating Chart, with their monogram at the bottom.

And Tamara left the loveliest feedback in my etsy shop. Thanks Tamara!!!

" We loved all our reception materials...everything was beautiful and we got a lot of compliments. I started working with GEDesigns a month before my wedding and the entire process was smooth and simple. My wedding planner said we had some of the best stationery she had ever seen!"

Lesley + Kevin

Lesley is getting married tomorrow! Here is her little wedding package in teal and silver. The monogram she chose became a theme with her stickers and table cards.

Here are her 2x2 inch square labels...
And her theme for her table names are names of locations that have a special meaning to her and her new hubbie.Last, but not least, a screenshot of her Seating Chart design (Swirly available at http://www.gedesigns.etsy.com/)...

Barbara's Wedding Package

Barbara's getting married this weekend, and here is her suite of paper products that we worked on for a few months... Congratulations!

Here is the table number card set I created. She used really cute love quotes for each table.
This is the favor tag that she will be tying to small truffle boxes...

These are her OOT tags for her out-of-town guest bags.
Tented Menus... Reserved Seating Signs for her and her new hubbie...
I love the decorative elements of her monogram that was used to add some color to her signs. It also ties in with the rest of her reception stationery.
And lastly, "Reserved" Signs (top-hanging) for the pews in the church.

Jennifer's Art-themed Table Numbers

Jennifer sent me images of her favorite artists' works to incorporate into her Photo Table Cards. One of the great about these themed cards, is that she can take them and put them in her wedding scrapbook with photos of her guests at those tables! These are total keepers. Here is the eclectic collection from Van Gogh, to Monet, to Warhol.
My favorite -- Van Gogh's "Starry Night"... And to go along with the navy blue/green color scheme, I made her a couple hanging reserved signs.

Jami and Dan

Love is sweet for Jami and Dan! Her sister Brooke found me on etsy, and asked my help for some final touches to their reception area, with a few Crystal Clustered signs for their candy table, and somse Tags for the candy bar jars. And a couple Bride and Groom Signs that tie from the sides. Adjustable Straps as always...
