April's Save The Date

April's getting married! She purchased the digital file from my DIY shop, Serendipity Creatives. Congrats!!

Nichanh Nicole Photography -- Logos

Nichanh Nicole is a very talented photographer from the Bay Area. She came to me looking for a damask based design for her business name. Nichanh is super talented, as seen by her beautiful photos on her blog. My favorites are the ones of her kids. But here are her two logo designs, which are different versions of the same custom design. These files are in a png format so she can place them over any background.

And here are a few that didn't make the cut...

Bride and Groom Signs - Print At Home, DIY

Here is a new addition to my DIY collection at Serendipity Creatives. A "Mr. & Mrs." Sign for you to print at home. I just created this for a client so I thought it would be nice to share with all of you... She's getting married this Saturday, so she needed something to print at home YESTERDAY. I'm always glad to help out in any way I can.

These two signs are preset to print at 10 inches x 7.5 inches. She will trim the edges after printing, then simply adhere to an 8.5 X 11 inch cardstock. You may also punch two holes at the top and use ribbon to hang the finished signs, Or adhere the ribbon behind the first layer of cardstock to tie to the back of the chair.

Isabella's 1st Birthday - Program

Isabella's mom had asked me to make their table numbers a few weeks back, and came back looking for a jpg file for a program to match the pink and green theme. She will be printing this up as 4X6 programs to stick on each table so the guests can see what's in store for them. Looks like Isabella's guests are in for a big treat, young and old! Happy 1st Bday!!!

Amanda's Seating Chart

Here is Amanda's seating chart for her to print at home. She had this mounted on a green background to match the table numbers I made for her in the past... She got married this past weekend, so I hope it all turned out beautifully! Congratulations, Amanda and Rob!

Jenn's Table Numbers

The love words and definitions theme is very popular at this time. I can see why! Jenn's colors are chocolate and sage green. She went with the double sided, tented cards that stand on their own.

Gianna's Seating Chart

This seating chart was customized for Gianna through my DIY shop, Serendipity Creatives. Gianna had her own monogram for me to insert, which was gorgeous. We did her chart in a dark brown and I had created it to fit perfectly in her frame which is sized at 16 inches X 20 inches. She'll be printing it at a local printer, and hopefully it comes out beautifully for her wedding this weekend!

Rachel's Table Numbers

Rachel went with the love words and definitions theme for her ten tables. To make space in the design, she decided to not include her name and fiance's name. I'm digging her set, because chocolate and lavendar is one of my favorite color combinations.

Melanie & James

Melanie is incorporating some penguin touches into her wedding decor, so I added a little penguin sillhouette to one of her monograms
This next monogram will be used for address labels and other personal items for the newly married couple.

Table Numbers - Stands

I've been asked by a few brides about where to find table number stands. When they order the flat versions of my table numbers, I always ask them to check with the reception venue that they have these table number stands available to display my table number cards.

BUT, just in case they don't, I found a few places online that carry stands, so here they are:

CHROME STANDS: Goes with most every color theme. It's safe to go with this stand, since my table numbers are usually pretty decorative, you don't want anything to take away from the number signs, nor the centerpiece. So i always suggest that brides make sure their venues have this on hand. I found this at Kerekes at a decent price, and it looks like you don't have to buy a minimum order like other sites do. Depending on the height of your centerpieces, you can choose different heights of stands.

VINTAGE: Or if you want to use photos or SIMPLE number cards (which I can create for you to print at home at 4X6 sizes), I saw these stands online. A bride I'm working with actually had it on her wedding site, so I searched, and found the site that sells them at Shelly B Home and Holiday. They can also be used to display menus, guestbook, or other items at the receptions. Very vintage chic.

But, one can always go with the frame easels that are sold at Michaels, or if you have patience to search online, ebay sellers may have something fancier. Here's a photo of a table number using a simple black wooden frame easel I got from Michaels.

Beth's Table Numbers

Beth's theme was significant years in her life and her fiance, Tien's, life. They have a total of 23 tables, so there is a lot of information for her guests to read about the couple. Beth had her own set of monograms, so we chose the one that best fit the layout, and here is her lively set of table numbers for you to check out.

For the last 3 table numbers, Beth and Tien decided to name the years of their 10 year, 25 and 50 year anniversaries.

New Design Preview: Rhinestone Buckles!

I'm really excited. I was supply shopping and saw these rhinestone buckles. I thought they would be a great addition to my table number designs. They're available in 3 sizes: 1.5" (square and circle), 1", and 5/8". I'll be experimenting with them in the next couple weeks to have some samples ready to post in the near future. It's a great way to add a touch of bling to the table or to your programs!
The ribbon shown is 1.5" in the first 3 buckles, but the bottom 5/8" buckle is attached to a 7/8" ribbon. I didn't have a 5/8" on hand for the photos.

Samantha and Ryan

Samantha's colors are green with hints of pink...

Samantha decided to have one of her monograms to be different from her wedding colors, so she can print out her own stationery ... She went with navy blue and coral to print on off-white paper. Very cute!

Amy's Reserved Signs

Amy liked the style of my table numbers, so she asked me to make tented "Reserved" signs for her upcoming wedding. Here is a set of 8, sized at 4.5" x 4.5".... For this order, Amy had her own monogram for me to use, so I inserted it into the design, and here we have another cute little set!

Here's a closeup. The photo came out brighter for some reason. The light was shining directly through my living room when I took this. But I guess it was the angle. I still need to work on taking photos with the natural light to get consistent results.
