GE Designs New Logo

I've been fickle about my logo for the last year, so I THINK I finally made one that I really like. Simple. Clean.
And for now, I've decided to keep my company name Giselle Edjan Designs for a little longer (GE Designs on Etsy). A huge part of that slack is that I haven't had the chance to go do an official name change at the San Diego County building (I can't even remember which building or department it is). With business picking up and my day job, where is the time??? I still haven't had the chance to design the company's web site either. Sigh.
So for those who have noticed my logo before, I've changed it this week, and here is my new one (above), along with a matching Etsy banner below.

Nichanh Nicole Photography -- Logos

Nichanh Nicole is a very talented photographer from the Bay Area. She came to me looking for a damask based design for her business name. Nichanh is super talented, as seen by her beautiful photos on her blog. My favorites are the ones of her kids. But here are her two logo designs, which are different versions of the same custom design. These files are in a png format so she can place them over any background.

And here are a few that didn't make the cut...

Shoppe Unique - Logos

I just had the pleasure of working with Diana for her shop, Shoppe Unique (Austrian crystal bookmarks and small jewelry). At first, she ordered one of my standard monograms because it kinda had the look she was going for, a vintage, boutique shop sign. So, instead of just changing the fonts and colors of my standard monogram, we worked together to make a logo that she completely loved. She was so great to work with, since she helped me find the exact colors, and fonts -- made my job easier. I ended up creating her business cards, her etsy banner, and an extra logo. Please check out her shops -- she also just created her own web site.

This logo below, is her banner on her web site, and the front of her business card.
Here is the back side of the business card. She had them printed at Zazzle.com, and so I gave her the png file (transparent) so she can choose a colored background of her choice through that printing service.

And this version will be used for her own marketing materials (for signs, shows, flyers, etc)

And of course, her etsy banner!

Baby Monogram Preview

I'm excited because I am in the process of making a monogram for my first baby shower for Sonya's friend! You may remember her table numbers with the tiffany blue, and chandelier background. I've gotten a few requests for that design. Here is a preview of a new baby on the way... she mentioned apples, so I had a little fun with this.

Tanekeya Word's "Femmelle Fatale" Logo

Now another logo design for Tanekeya Word. This one is called "Femmelle Fatale," and she was going for something very feminine, with 50s glamour. I love working with her because as an artist, she has a great eye for design, so she was able to tell me exactly where to put things, and find some inspirational images to help me put this together for her. It's always nice to get my creative juices flowing for something different and unique!

Tanekeya Word's Duchess Logos

Here are a couple logos I created for Tanekeya's personal web site. She's starting her own etsy shop, called Popular, so check her work out. Very talented artist, and as usual, a great guide in getting her graphic designs right. She was looking for a crown, so I designed the following crown to her specifications, and incorporated some colorful jewels to match her painting, which is in the 1st logo. The painting is part of Tanekeya's own artwork, so I cropped it to make the final result below.
And this 2nd logo, will be used in her new website. With the matching crown from above.

Logo: KZM Facial Care Boutique

This is probably my last post for the year. And it goes to Karley of KZM Facial Care Boutique. She had asked for a certain color scheme to match her web page's layout, which was designed by Boutique Mama. She's launching her own web site soon, and I can't wait to see it. Looks like her beauty products are really great -- i look forward to trying them out really soon (i'll probably post my experience with her Goat's Milk Face Cream) later in January after she reopens her shop. But here's her logo for the the top of her new web site. Thanks Karley, for the repeat business!

And here is a collection of the proofs I sent her prior to her final decision...

Happy New Year to All!!!!!!

Kelly's Business Logo

Kelly came to me looking for a digital version of their business logo for MVP Commercial. It was a Roman temple, with some simple lines, so I decided to create it from scratch. I vectorized the temple (kinda tracing the original) and came up with the following. I kept the lines and colors simple because she will be using it to create an embroidered polo shirt, and letterheads. Hope the hubby likes it!

Jada B's personal Logo

Here is a personal logo I started to work on for Tanekeya's package, but unfortunately, we've scratched it and will be working on another. But, it turned out so cute, I thought I'd post it anyway. Jada is a makeup artist, which is why there is a blush brush in it.

Tristen B's Personal Monogram and Logo

This is just the first of a series of personal monograms/logos that I've created for Tanekeya Word, who by the way is an awesome artist. You can find her website at http://www.tanekeyaword.com/. Tanekya had sent me the peacock to use for the logo. I just had to tweak it a bit. The peacock image was created by a talented artist, Natalie, on her blog at http://www.definatalie.com/archives/31-Free-Vector-Shapes-Peacocks.html ...

Vanda and Felix

Vanda ordered not just 3, but 4 monograms for her wedding with Felix. She asked for light pink with accents of chocolate brown and maybe some butterflies. I loved working with her because she had pictures of items that expressed the colors she wanted, so I could match them to her logos.

Thanks Vanda!

Vanda's feedback (from Etsy): "Excellent Service and beautiful work! Giselle is talented, quick to respond and worked one-on-one to create the perfect monogram brilliantly incorporating all the finicky details I requested of her. I couldn't be happier with the final product. She gets a double thumbs up from me!THANK YOU!"

Culinary Catering Company - Business Card design

Peggy (the owner of Culinary Catering Company) came to me, via a referral (Thanks, Jill!), to design her logo and her business card. Her style is very chic and simple, so after a few ideas I threw at her, we came up with the chocolate/champagne look below.

Since there were 3 C's in the company name, I had a little fun designing some possible logos.

And you can't have a catering company design without a cooking tool! Just thought it would be cute to have a whisk, whisking the letter C in the background...
